Ready for School/ Shower time

For the past few days Kemarie talks about going to school. I think she finally decided if I did not take her she would go by herself. Here is the fabulous story which left me slightly afraid. I was upstairs and I heard the door shut down stairs. I went to see who was there and it was Kemarie with her backpack on. I asked her where she went and her response, "I went to school, but I couldn't find it anywhere." my question," where did you look?" Kemarie,"I went down that way(pointing down our super busy street) and that way(pointing in the opposite direction). I will never know if she really went down the street or not, but that was enough to give me a heart attack. Which only added to the excitement because a few days earlier, Sunday to be exact, she answered the door(luckily to my visiting teachers) telling them ,"oh my mommy is in the shower with my daddy". Then she ran up stairs to tell me my friends were here and they brought me a special cookie to eat. I am sure my visiting teachers got a good laugh out of that (This is where I go inactive). I guess it is time to put child proof locks on our doors.

Best Buds

Almost every morning Dane needs a little time with Lucky(the dog). Dane rolls, bites, and puts his fingers in Lucky's mouth. What a good Dog.

Easter

I am a little sad to report I have no pictures of my children in their super cute Easter clothes, because we played hookie and did not go to church. We drove all over Utah visiting friends and family. We did get pictures of the egg hunt. I hope everyone had a great Easter.

Egg Hunt

Kemarie was not very pleased to pose for a picture. She loved looking for eggs and seeing her easter basketin the morning.
Dane decided to use the biggest basket he could find to look for his easter eggs. Let me tell you he insited on this basket all the others he shoved and said, "no".

Major Slacker

I am such a slacker. sorry everyone. I want to give you a quick recap of the last two months. Below is a quick glimpse of our major events. I will try to do better now I promise.

2 month catch up

Dane would live outside if we let him. here he is outside on his slide that he loves. Our neighbor friend shelby waits patiently to go down the slide.

Kemarie unwrapping presents at her birthday party. With each present she would say "is it? is it? " and then exclaim what it was out loud with pure joy and excitement.
Tyson loves to show how strong he is. he wanted to try and get three people on his back. He has Christian.,Mitch, and Liz on his back for all of one or two seconds. Go baby!!!!

I snapped this picture through the kitchen window of our dog and the tenants dog. It looks like a Hallmark card to me.
On Valentines day we decided to embrace the fact that we had children and we did a fondue party with cheese and chocolate fondue. Well it was a big hit and mom and dad had fun cleaning all the chocolate off everything. This will surely be a tradition.
I came down stairs and found my kids had emptied an entire box of fruity pebbles. This is the picture after my dog had eaten half of the mess(one of the major perks to having a dog).
WE went to the Chidrens Museum in Salt lake city the beggining of February and we went with Kemarie and Dane's second cousin Mariah. We couldn't get pictures of all of them together because they all wanted to do thier own thing, but here a few cute ones. Mariah's loved getting stickers and thought they looked best on her face.
when we went to the Childrens Museum in February and we could not keep Dane away from the water table. By the time we left he was wet up to his shoulders.

This was our pizza party we had one January day and Daddy made a fort with Kemaries help to eat our pizza in.

My Artist

Kemarie has now been caught twice using marker all over her arms and legs. Unfortunately this is the mild version. The other episode she was all blue and anything she touched turned blue and so I didn't think about a picture, I threw her in the bath immediately. I am jsut grateful It hasnt been my couches or anything else for that matter(knock on wood).
